Anyone here know Joe Carbone, He is a great Jazz guitar Player from Long
Island NY.

Joe Carbone is/was one of the best teachers at Five Towns College. I have been looking to get in touch with him. Is he still around?

I was told by a mutual friend that he's in the hospital where they found a 'mass' on his brain. I called him up, and he confirmed they found a mass on his brain.
I asked him if it was a tumor, and he said yes, and hung up. I tried calling him up, and he had his answering service on, so I guess he doesn't want to speak to anyone.

I just called him, and he said he was doing good and was teaching again.
Then I asked him about his medical condition and he hung up again.
I called him back twice, and got his answering service both times.
I called his keyboard player, and got his answering service.

Yeah, I was feeling guilty for not checking back, but they clearly don't want to discuss the topic. He sounded pretty cheerful, though.

I went to 5 towns joe was one of my teachers the best advice he gave me was all notes matter and can be played in a song as long as you know what order to play them in
