I’ve collected about 2100 arrangements for solo guitar. Mainly classical and chord-melody jazz standards, plus some Beatles and American folk music.

These are in the Tabledit format (I’m not affiliated), for both Mac and PC. This notation editor displays notation and/or tab, plays music through your computer’s speakers, and shows a fretboard diagram in real time as the music plays.

A free reader for this format, for both Mac and PC, can be downloaded at http://www.tabledit.com/tefview/index.shtml

The scores, in a 5.4 mb zip file, can be downloaded at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64325719/TEF_files.zip

Happy New Year, everyone.

Wow, they sure don't take up much disc space. It's nice that the
reader allows you to print without the tab score.

Thanks!

I've revised this collection to include several more songs from Baden Powell, plus some nice stuff from the estimable arrangers Howard Heitmeyer (shown as "HH" in the title) and Yves Keroas (shown as "YK" in the title).

Hope you can use some of this. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64325719/TEF%20Files.zip

Anyone know the password that would enable me to print number 5?
The others print fine, just 5 says "unable to print password protected file".

I hadn't seen that (never tried to print that file). I get the password block too; I tried going to the arranger's web site, http://www.ifrance.com/philguitar, as listed on the title screen, and the DNS server could not be found. I think we're out of luck -- sorry.

Seems Phillip moved to Espanha:

And he's still got his stuff available, but one might have to contact
him about the protection on this file, the key-screw up and such. It
looks/acts just the same as the one I already had.

This does look like stump the band! I tried doing page-pictures and
trying to edit them with graphics software. If you really want it, you
can print each page from screen-shots individually, right? You can get
rid of the blue/red print lines by toggling the button "show margin
limits"

By the way, it has no password complaint for me, nor won't print it either.

I just printed a page, and it isn't so pretty, arpeggio indications
blend with the sharps for a splotchy view. Still if you only want to
print it long enough to learn it, this would work.

Does anybody hereabouts actually use TablEdit, the software used to
edit these files? I looked at this particular chart and see that it
starts in E, then goes to C before the notation begins, whereupon
everything has 3 sharps to hell and back on everything. So the key
signature is wrong. If you *could* print it, it looks like a headache
anyway!
