I'm still fascinate by this tuning. Anyone else still using this on a
regular basis? I think it is quite clever and very usable in a duo
setting.

Question: Where can one still get a hold of Beck's Cort Alto Guitar?
His site doesn't sell it anymore, and google seems to produce zero
results. Do any other companies make this kind of guitar (with
appropriate nut spacings and the split pickup)?

Anyone have one they are willing to part with?

I do have one of the Cort Alto guitars. To be honest you are pretty
much just as good stringing up any guitar you already have with the
alto strings. The split pickup is kind of cool but I never have felt
compelled to take full advantage of it on a gig by bringing two amps.
Before I got the actual alto model I just had my 175 strung up with
the alto stings/tuning. I don't think I'll part with the Cort, but
I'd also have been just as happy with a 175 alto.

Sure. I was thinking of just using my D'A Excel as an Alto, and
getting a fancier archtop for my mine ax.

Thanks,
