I went to his website - http://www.legatoguitars.com/ - and it reads:

Due to failing health LEGATOGUITARS.COM is no longer active, but the domain name is available to the guitar enthusiast seeking an opportunity in a well-established, highly-regarded internet-based business with a 17-year history of impeccable service to the jazz guitar community.

I hope all is well with Bill.

I have dealt with him, bought a D'Aquisto; keep us up to date on his
health.

I'm sorry to hear he's not doing well. I bought an L-7 from him when he was still in Virginia. He was mostly a mail/Internet business but he allowed me to go to his house and try out guitars. He's a nice guy and he pointed me to Matt DiSilva and Jeff Ponder, who are great repair techs.

Very sorry to hear this. You father was one of the good guys; we did a couple of guitar deals, and he was great to work with. My condolences to you and your family.

Hi, I remember Bill, a great and gentleman who introduced me to aesthetics of archtop guitars. I will pray for Bill, may he rest in Christ's peace.
