Recently (I do it ever 5-7 years) I got a subscription to downbeat again.
Notwithstanding that print journalism is in financial difficulties, magazines, both printed and online, can be great resources, and the net provides many more (including this group of course).

What sites does everyone go to? Downbeat, JazzIz, Jazz Times, others?

Thanks,
John

Curious; I never go to those sites. It never occured to me, frankly.
Long ago it seems I attempted to, but they, logically wanted some money
or something and my interest was idel.

Incidentally a lot of magazines are automatically accessible in Apple's
News+, and since I was already using Apple News, I subscribed. But
they don't have an agreement with any of those magazines.

Instead I periodically type in "jazz" or "jazz guitar" or similar and
it gives me plenty to gawk at from all kinds of sources. Today, with
"Jazz" I got the following. Those are the requisite Snaggy
advertising. Apple has none.
